The prequel to many a sequels.

This would be my blank canvas to start anew, and on it hopefully my rants would find a chord with anyone who bothers reading it. First off, I just need to mention this brilliant artiste that I chanced upon. Her name is Cara Dillon, and I am just in awe with her voice, and how it is able to carry all the colors of the rainbow to my mind when I close my eyes. You must be thinking that I am whole lotta cow excrement at the moment. Suffice to say that not everybody is going to agree with me, why not just take a chance and listen to her. I can’t find many websites dedicate to her, so I’m just going to link you to her official website here. My first post, and already I am trying to endorse an artiste, heh.

Which reminds me of an episode of Letterman, which was hilarious partly because most of the times the guest are there for a reason. So up comes this chap by the name of Harmony Korine, who was there to promote his then new book. So Letterman asked him about the book and whether it was any good, and Korine replied with, “I dunno man, I don’t want to be endorsing it or anything.” Okay I can’t remember, the exact words but it was something along these lines. It’s good to be modest to a certain extend, I suppose. But at least he made an impression on me enough, that I quite often tell this story… it’s all credited to his name, and often enough it involved a whole lotta hand gestures, and body movements to make it interesting. Right I can’t remember, what the point that I was trying to convey.

I’ll end it now; will bombard this blog with recommendations on albums and books another time. Rock on folks, or in this case chill to some soothing Irish folk music today!
