sigh... at first the bookshop was fun, till the silly cashiering job keeps getting me in trouble for inconsistency. i mean, excess and shortage by 10's everyday!
hahahahha
wondering if its some sort of sabotage going on... speaking out loudly.
i know some of the staff there are ratting out every single thing i do, gawd if i wanted to, i could ask what the fuck do they do everyday as opposed to me sitting down for a minute at the cashier. these women yak loudly, over long period of times, and they are not discreet over their conversation.
instance...
woman 1: what is 'he' doing?
woman 2: aiyah he just topping up magazines
woman 1: i tell you, you know what he said to me? why am i so slow at counting the closing! (if she actually stopped chatting and count the money, i would be able to go back on time, i do not see a point in staying around for an action she should have done half an hour ago!)
woman 3: wah that guy got the nerve ah
woman 1: see now got excess, need me to do more work (duly calls me in to point this out)
woman 3: now he is making me go back late as well! (fuck hell, the people that logged into the system has to take credit for the whatever blips that particular cashiering machine records. it was me and woman 3 for that shift, and woman 1 ask me to sign this paper saying i was accountable for it. i'm like what the fuck, it's not me alone, just what just because woman 3 is a supervisor and your 'kaki' for a long time, she would not make a mistake? so i just signed the silly piece of paper, and listened to her talk about being more responsible next time... )
day 2
i was on shift with woman 3 again.
this time shortage of 15 bucks... woman 1 calls me in again, saying i have to pay for it. woman 3 stood around listening at the conversation.
after all of it, woman 3 shows up with a pack of 20 bucks worth of 1 coins and says she found it at my place.
i'm like what the fuck.
woman 1 says that i am so lucky she found that for me...
day 3
i relieved woman 1 for her lunch break, (she took 2 hours to come back, did i say shit... noooo, here dont count)
she came back during the first 15 minutes saw me sitting down when there was no customers around and pointed it out to me. (the seat was placed at the blind spot from camera recording of the shop, i was pretty sure it was her that put it there for her to seat, dont belive in a thing called coincidence any more)
when i came back main shop, my operations manager came to me and say nicely, you cant sit around or read in the shop at any time that you are working. i'm like, wow you either got psychic powers or your ears probably hurt from the rants of woman 1. i mean the operations manager is nice to me and all, said that i can talk to her whenever about anything, also hinted on talking to her if i 'think' people was talking about me behind my back.
im like... wow you must be psychic.
heh
im sounding like these women, gawd the politics in a bookshop is just so unpredictable. im like why, do you feel that your position as a supervisor is under threat just because you have worked there all your life, till you're like 40-50 and im coming in to steal your thunder?
give me a break.
now im giving you a break, from moi.
